UPDATE: Promoting Community-Based Simulation Development Workshop

Lessons Learned Simulations and Training is pleased to announce that applications are now open for our multi-week workshops promoting community-based simulation development for the humanitarian sector in Jordan. Whether or not you took part in our participatory webinars in 2020, this program is entirely free and open to humanitarian workers and organizations based in Jordan that are interested in developing their own simulation training designs.

Beginning in February 2021, selected participants will attend 10 online training sessions over 5 weeks, offered in both English and Arabic. Upon completion of the online training sessions, participants will receive support and mentorship from simulation design experts as they continue to develop their designs over the course of 8 weeks in anticipation of delivering their newly-built training designs.

To apply and to learn more about this project, click here (English) or here (Arabic).

There are plenty of spaces available in the workshop, and everyone is welcome to apply! Lessons Learned is committed to gender equity and equal access. We especially encourage people who are early in their careers and those who might not otherwise have the chance to engage in an eight-month training opportunity to apply.

This project has been made possible by the generous support of the Fund for Innovation and Transformation, Global Affairs Canada, and the Inter Council Network. Lessons Learned would like to thank FIT, GAC, ICN, as well as our delivery partners CRISP Berlin and Save the Children’s Humanitarian Capacity Building Team.
