Lessons Learned is thrilled and humbled to announce that our project, Promoting Localized Gender-Aware Simulation Development for Humanitarian Training, has been selected to receive support from the Fund for Innovation and Transformation. In collaboration with our implementing partners Save the Children and CRISP Berlin, LLST will provide a new workshop initiative that supports the development of community-led humanitarian simulation design in Jordan. Through these workshops, LLST can share the lessons we have learned and support local humanitarian workers in designing and facilitating their own training simulations in early 2021.
We are eager to dive into this ambitious project with Save the Children and CRISP, a project that we believe will contribute to the field of simulation-based learning, help shift the focus towards localization, and encourage gender equality in our field. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to put pressure on humanitarian efforts, LLST has plans in place to ensure that these workshops are available and accessible.
A big thank you to the Fund for Innovation and Transformation, Global Affairs Canada, and the Inter-Council Network for making this project possible!
