Lessons Learned Simulations and Training has recently welcomed Ben Stevens to the team as a project assistant intern. Outside of LLST, Ben is professional theatre artist and educator, with a growing portfolio in learning game development. He is an expert in immersive storytelling as well as education via group facilitation and hands-on, experiential learning.
Prior to COVID-19, Ben was a team leader with Level Up Gaming League, an Edmonton-based non-profit that utilizes tabletop role-playing games to provide opportunities for marginalized youth to develop confidence, practice social skills, and make positive community connections. LLST is excited to see how Ben’s unique experience will impact our work as he learns the ins-and-outs of simulation based training in the humanitarian field.
